Professor Stephen Myers was a complementary medicine expert and commentator who served as an Adjunct Professor, spokesperson, and member of the NICM Research Committee.
He was internationally recognized for his leadership in complementary medicine education and research.
Recognition
In 2004, Professor Myers received the prestigious Lady Cilento Award from the Complementary Healthcare Council for his sustained contribution to the field of complementary medicine.
His influence traveled well beyond a single school, clinic, or discipline.
Professional Service
He consulted to industry, government, and educational institutions across a broad range of natural medicine issues.
He also served on the editorial panels of three international peer-reviewed journals and left behind a substantial body of books, chapters, articles, reports, and invited presentations.
