Working from Huntsville, Alabama, Amy Neil McBride is a medical editor and writer with experience on books written in American, Canadian, British, and Australian English.

Her academic background includes undergraduate study in biology and a master's of science in technical and science communications.

Thousands of volunteer hours in service of the textbook

Amy gave thousands of volunteer hours over many years, and her work on the first volume was essential to bringing the textbook project to fruition.

Her meticulous medical editing, command of grammar and syntax, and long-term commitment gave the project a crucial editorial backbone.

Her work has been recognized by Elsevier with a Certificate of Outstanding Reviewing, among other commendations.
